Jaleigh Ivy joins the Blue Reef team with years of hands-on experience in the cattle industry and in agriculture. Jaleigh grew up in Midland, Texas, where she showed steers across the state. This experience help to expand her involvement across multiple areas of the industry.
Jaleigh has a degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism from Texas A&M University. During her time at Texas A&M University, she worked for Trans Ova Genetics, the leading biotechnology reproductive company in the cattle industry. She also completed internships with organizations including the State Fair of Texas and the San Antonio Livestock Expedition. When she is not in office, you can usually find her at a cattle show or helping with her families club-calf operation, Ivy Cattle Company, raising primarily American-Influenced show cattle based in De Leon, Texas.
Today, she is proud to be able to work somewhere where she can continue to work with cattle producers through a new scope. We are excited to have added Jaleigh to the Blue Reef team. As a licensed insurance agent she is available to assist with all Livestock Risk Protection Insurance needs.
